Spring Writing Gala- day 6

I'm so sorry that I didn't do day 5. I had meant to but, then I just plain forgot, so moving on...I was going to do a Vlog, but it didn't turn out right, so I'm just going to post what I use. (btw, none of these pictures are mine)

My notebook

 well sharpened pencils
My mom's laptop.

Well, that's about it! bye!

Cool picture

I found this as a background on my iPod, I would give anything to be able to take such a cool picture!

Spring Writing Gala- day 4

Kristen from "A Girl and Her God"

Happiest memory: When my brother was at summer camp and he was gone for a WHOLE week!
Laugh hard: When my best friend, Amelia, tell the most hilarious jokes.
What you don't want anyone to know: That I am really struggling deep down inside and that I am starting to doubt God.
Best part of your personality: I am really friendly.
Clothes do you usually wear: jean pants or jean shorts with a no too baggy t-shirt.
Some things you’re not very good at: Managing a lot of things at once.
How would your best friend describe how you look: A 12 year old girl with shoulder length curly blonde hair, blue eyes, who always smiles.
What irritates you: my 8 year old little brother!
What are you afraid of: snakes! UGH!
About your family:  My dad, Leo, is 38 and works from home as a writer. He mostly writes devotional books for boys and girls ages 7-15. Because, my dad has such a passion for writing devotional books and doing it doesn't bring in much money, my mom has to work. My mom's name is Angela and she is 35 and works for a law firm. She looks a lot like me except that she always wears her hair in a tight bun, but I prefer wearing my hair down. My little brother, James, is 8 years old and loves to annoy me and to play with match box cars.
What does your bedroom look like: My bedroom is the only room on the 2nd floor of our house and it is painted brown and my bedspread has brown and turquoise plaid on it. I have a reading/homework area in the corner and a window seat behind my bed.
What do your think of yourself when you look in the mirror: where is that acne cream!
Most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you: When I wet my pants in the library of my school in first grade. *shudder*
What do you really, REALLY want more than anything else I the world: To understand God and to figure why he is making my life so miserable. I know I should trust him, but how can I trust someone who I don't even know if he is there or not!
Heart’s Desire: to figure out the above and then to grow up and have a happy life trusting God!

Spring writing gala- day 3

Kristen- from a book I'm working on
Kristen is a somewhat normal 12 year old, who loves hanging out with friends. she has shoulder length blonde curly hair, which all of her friends are envious of. She loves God and goes to church regularly, but sometimes she is a little doubtful about whether he cares about her or not.

Spring writing gala- day 2

Today you are supposed to write a paragraph about someone you know.

::Elizabeth- a ballet dancer, doctor wanna-be and my 9 year old sister::

Elizabeth has hazel eyes, dirty blonde hair and a spunky personality. She is very social and loves hanging out with and helping with children younger than her. She enjoys doing ballet and pretending to be a Mama. She is known for leaving her shoes all over the house and "forgetting" to pick them up, but is very sweet, too. She loves playing with and being like her big sister (aka Me).

Spring Writing Gala- day one!!

Hello, my name is Anna Katherine (but, lots of people call me AK). I am a 11 year old homeschooled young lady learning to trust Jesus and serve Him only.

How long have you been writing? About 2 years.
When did you first realize how much you loved writing? Probably when I got my first assignment at this writing class I take.
What is your favorite thing about writing? Being creative and thinking of what the story is about.
Which do you like better, Planning or Rewriting? probably neither, but I guess I like rewriting better.
What do you consider your best work of writing? "A Hectic Honeymoon" (a short story that I wrote about 5 weeks ago.)
What kind of writing do you feel the strongest in? probably writing short stories, I actually have never written any kind of story that is more than 4 pages long. :)
How many books have you started writing? about five
How many books have you finished writing? ZERO!
How many books are you working on right now? 1
Have you ever taken a writing class? yes, I started taking it in 4th grade and I still do it.
If so, what did you get the most out of it? Hmm... probably learning about using strong adverbs, adjectives, etc.
If you could write as good as anyone in the world, who would you choose? Rick Riordan
What have your family members told you about when you were little/what do you remember, and how might it apply to your writing life? I really have no idea... :(
